Senior Engineering Manager, Loyalty Platform & Communications

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Loyalty Platform & Communications squad. You will own the engineering side of a global, vendor‑based loyalty ecosystem, ensuring reliable delivery of rewards and communications across web, mobile, retail, email, SMS and other touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, grow and mentor a distributed team of engineers, fostering ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Own delivery planning for the Loyalty Platform roadmap, balancing business outcomes, platform health and vendor dependencies.
• Manage team capacity, hiring, prioritisation and delivery rituals for sustainable execution.
• Partner with the vendor to configure, integrate, monitor and support the loyalty product, influencing roadmap priorities and resolving issues.
• Establish operating models for release intake, environment readiness, defect triage and production support.
• Design and operate APIs, integration services, event flows and abstraction layers that connect Loyalty with Consumer Profile, Identity, Commerce, POS, Data, Marketing and Communications platforms.
• Abstract vendor‑specific details to keep Levi’s ecosystem flexible, resilient and easy to evolve.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams delivering large‑scale, vendor‑integrated platforms.
• Strong collaboration skills with product, business, architecture, security, data, marketing and regional teams.
• Ability to balance speed, reliability, maintainability and long‑term platform evolution.
