Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure & Terraform)

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise‑grade solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will lead the delivery of complex projects, ensuring that platforms are secure, automated, and aligned with business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer and automate platform solutions in partnership with product managers.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates or Bicep.
• Manage Azure resources, networking, storage, and compute services.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment and release processes.
• Implement source‑control strategies with Git and enforce branching standards.
• Monitor performance and reliability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and performance issues.
• Support containerised workloads with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery for large or complex projects.
• Deep understanding of business and user requirements and translating them into technical designs.
• Experience applying DevSecOps methodologies and modern development standards.
