Senior Developer – SAP BTP

About the role

Join Assystem's transformation programme as a Senior SAP BTP Developer and play a key role in delivering innovative cloud‑native solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform. You will act as the technical authority for SAP BTP within the delivery team, collaborating with international stakeholders and ensuring adherence to SAP best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SAP BTP extensions using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js and/or Java.
• Build event‑driven applications and integrations using SAP BTP services, including RESTful and OData APIs.
• Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications where required.
• Perform code reviews, enforce development standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, support release management, and ensure solution quality through testing and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience as a SAP BTP Developer or similar role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English for daily collaboration with international teams.
• Strong ownership mindset, analytical problem‑solving, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
