Senior Associate Technology Risk Prompt Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Associate in Technology Risk Prompt Engineering, you will partner with senior managers and risk officers to deliver automated, AI‑assisted monitoring across critical technology and cyber‑risk themes. You will design, test and maintain prompt‑based agents and workflow automations while ensuring data governance, privacy and audit‑ready documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Translate insight routines into a backlog of automation and agent use‑cases aligned with the insights plan.
• Capture repeatable workflows (report refreshes, evidence collation, control attestations) and define clear automation requirements.
• Build and maintain insight assets such as datasets, dashboards and briefing packs that provide timely, trusted risk information.
• Develop workflow automations for data extraction, transformation, scheduling, approvals and notifications to improve timeliness and reduce manual effort.
• Integrate automations with existing platforms (SharePoint, Teams, risk tooling) and create user guidance and training materials.
• Coordinate with Technology, Cyber, Data and Internal Audit stakeholders to standardise definitions, thresholds and evidence expectations.

Required profile

• Experience delivering automation or analytics solutions for technology, cyber or operational risk within financial services.
• Hands‑on experience with prompt engineering and AI‑assisted workflow tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot ecosystem).
• Strong data handling skills, including SQL and data‑wrangling for structured and semi‑structured data.
• Proficiency with workflow automation tools (Power Automate), scripting (Python) and API integration.
• Ability to engage stakeholders, capture pain points and prototype fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
