Senior Associate – Security & Compliance (Bangalore)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Associate to provide consultancy and support for security and compliance controls within Bosch's global software operations in Bangalore. The role focuses on aligning our applications with industry regulations and internal standards, ensuring robust security posture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct compliance assessments and provide guidance on ISO 27001:2022 and related security frameworks.
• Stay current with changes to central guidelines, analyze impacts, and adapt processes accordingly.
• Engage with managers, application owners, and technical teams to evaluate security controls and document compliance.
• Perform gap analyses for security policies, controls, and procedures.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Business Continuity Management Plans (BCMP).
• Provide expertise on penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, encryption, backup and storage security.
• Ensure security documentation is complete, accurate, and up‑to‑date.
• Support implementation of security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports and documentation to demonstrate compliance with relevant standards.
• Meet customer KPIs, quality targets, and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in IT security, compliance, GRC or IAM.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, GDPR, and DPDP Act.
• Experience with application management processes, governance, and security concepts.
• Professional oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with ownership and proactiveness.
• Team‑player attitude, flexibility, and deadline orientation.
