Security Officer

About the role

Accor is looking for a detail‑oriented and assertive Security Officer to protect assets, personnel and facilities at its Mysuru location. You will work in a collaborative, inclusive environment where vigilance and analytical thinking are highly valued.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols and monitor facilities, grounds and access points to prevent unauthorized activities.
• Implement and maintain security policies, procedures and protocols in line with local, national and international regulations.
• Operate and monitor surveillance cameras, access control and alarm systems, ensuring proper functionality.
• Perform security inspections and risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.
• Investigate incidents and breaches, preparing detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Manage visitor and personnel access, verify credentials and keep accurate entry/exit records.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms and crisis situations, coordinating with emergency services as needed.
• Deliver security training sessions to raise employee awareness of best practices.
