About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the telecalling vendor that generates insurance leads for the BSLI‑HDFC partnership. The role focuses on optimizing manpower, ensuring high conversion rates, and maintaining compliance across all sales activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and streamline the telesales structure to achieve optimal capacity utilization.
  • Collaborate closely with HDFC bankers to secure channel support and manage relationships.
  • Oversee vendor team hiring, retention, motivation, and conflict resolution to maintain full staffing levels.
  • Drive career growth and skill development for direct reports and vendor telecallers.
  • Monitor lead conversion, distribute leads promptly, and track performance against targets.
  • Ensure adherence to internal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines, including approved sales pitches.
  • Coordinate training programs for vendor telecallers and implement rapid process adjustments as needed.

Required profile

  • Proven experience managing telecalling or call‑center vendor teams.
  • Strong ability to handle attrition, headcount planning, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent coordination skills between internal sales teams and external vendors.
  • Knowledge of insurance sales processes and regulatory compliance.
