Sales Manager – Air & Sea Freight (India Subcontinent)

About the role

Flexport is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the growth of its air and sea freight business across the India Subcontinent. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting high-potential clients to closing net-new business, and act as a regional brand ambassador for our tech-enabled logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and expand Flexport’s air and sea freight portfolio in the region by acquiring net-new customers.
• Manage the end-to-end sales funnel, from initial outreach to contract signing, targeting high-value accounts.
• Conduct discovery sessions to diagnose supply-chain challenges and design value-driven solutions.
• Deliver compelling digital and in-person presentations that highlight Flexport’s technology advantages.
• Achieve and exceed individual revenue quotas through disciplined pipeline management.
• Coordinate smooth hand-offs to internal operations and specialized teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Serve as a regional brand ambassador, surfacing strategic growth opportunities for global demand teams.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders to align service delivery with evolving client needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of full-cycle, quota-carrying sales experience.
• Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong appetite for cold-calling, discovery calls and a drive to become a top-5 % sales performer.
• Client-service mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Strategic vision combined with hands-on execution capability.
