Reservation Executive – Hotel Guest Services

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Reservation Executive to be the first point of contact for guests at our Mercure Hyderabad KCP hotel. You will manage all reservation enquiries across phone, email and online channels, ensuring each booking is handled with professionalism, accuracy and a focus on maximizing revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Handle room reservation inquiries via phone, email and online platforms promptly and courteously.
• Process bookings, amendments, cancellations and special requests with meticulous attention to detail.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of room categories, rates, packages and hotel services to advise guests.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Sales and Guest Relations to coordinate pre‑arrival planning.
• Drive revenue through upselling, strategic reservation management and achievement of occupancy targets.
• Manage VIP and special reservations discreetly and accurately.
• Update reservation records and guest profiles in accordance with hotel standards.
• Respond to guest inquiries with empathy, resolve concerns efficiently and uphold brand standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in reservations, front office or guest services within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Customer‑service orientation with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
