Night Shift Retail Associate – Salford Extra

About the role

Join the Salford Extra store team as a night‑shift colleague, working evenings and early mornings to keep the shop running smoothly and customers satisfied. The role offers guaranteed hours, flexible scheduling and a competitive hourly rate with night premiums.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers throughout the night.
• Assist with picking, replenishment and stock handling across the store.
• Maintain safety and hygiene standards while following training procedures.
• Make decisions that benefit customers and support store performance.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Accept and process deliveries when required.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Passion for delivering great customer service with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work nights, including shifts that run past midnight.
• Ability to work flexibly within the advertised availability windows.

Required skills

What we offer

• Hourly rate starting at £13.28, rising to £14.55 for stores within the M25.
• Additional night premium of £2.35 per hour for work between midnight and 06:00.
• Minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week (or 12 hours for reduced‑hour contracts).
• Three‑week notice of shift patterns and support for flexible availability.
