NDT Engineer – Non‑Destructive Testing

About the role

The position involves supporting the execution of non‑destructive and semi‑destructive testing activities on construction projects, ensuring compliance with procedures, safety standards and quality management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting NDT tests according to established procedures.
• Assist in semi‑destructive testing (SDT) and load testing of structural members and slabs.
• Perform NDT tests with the help of assistants, maintain reference materials and records, and carry out distress mapping in buildings.
• Support implementation of the Quality Management System and corporate standards.

Health, Safety & Environment responsibilities

• Comply with Bureau Veritas Cardinal Safety Rules and all applicable HSE policies, procedures and local regulations.
• Report any incidents, unsafe conditions or HSE shortcomings immediately to the line manager.
• Participate in HSSE management system activities in line with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001 standards.

Required profile

• B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant NDT experience.
• Knowledge of construction chemicals, strengthening materials and distress mapping is preferred.
