Mobile Software Engineer (SDE 3) – Own End-to-End Features

About the role

AbleCredit is looking for a senior Mobile Software Engineer (SDE 3) to own major mobile features from architecture through production. You will work on real‑world applications that must handle variable networks, device fragmentation, media capture, background work and strict reliability requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship end‑to‑end mobile features, including camera, audio, media upload, location and permissions.
• Implement robust offline‑first behavior, retry logic, background execution and synchronization.
• Own API integration, local state management, caching, persistence and data sync patterns.
• Improve app startup time, responsiveness, battery/network usage, crash rate and overall reliability.
• Build observability into features and debug issues across device, network and backend boundaries.
• Contribute to mobile architecture, testing strategy, release engineering and technical standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns through code reviews and design discussions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building production mobile applications.
• Strong expertise in Android/Kotlin, iOS/Swift, Flutter or React Native.
• Deep understanding of mobile lifecycle, networking, concurrency, persistence and performance.
• Proven track record shipping and supporting apps through production releases.
• Excellent debugging skills using device logs, profiling, crash reporting and network inspection.
