MEP Technician for Regional Rapid Transit System

About the role

DB RRTS is building a 82 km Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) between Delhi and Meerut. The company seeks a motivated MEP Technician to support the operation and maintenance of the new railway infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site and office‑based tasks, including energy reading, maintenance reporting and facility upkeep.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical (E&M) equipment across the RRTS/MRTS network.
• Follow policies for safe storage, handling and disposal of hazardous materials and scrap.
• Participate in technical, safety and operational training programmes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and document performance and material procurement as directed.
• Report all operational and maintenance activities to senior officers.

Required profile

• Completed ITI (Industrial Training Institute) qualification.
• Pro‑active, self‑starter attitude with confidence and independence.
• Strong communication, networking and logical thinking abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
