Logistics Specialist – Data Center Operations

About the role

Amazon AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a self‑driven Logistics Specialist to support inventory and fiscal processes for its data centre operations in India. You will act as a liaison between suppliers, internal teams and financial groups, ensuring smooth material flow and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage transportation, shipping, receiving and inventory control for data centre components.
• Operate material‑handling equipment such as pallet jacks to load and unload large equipment.
• Assemble, label, arrange and verify inbound shipments, maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Maintain public and confidential documentation, align with finance and inventory teams, and respond to internal and external queries.
• Gather data, generate, publish and present metrics across various operational areas.
• Document, update and publish new processes as required.

Required profile

• Highly autonomous, detail‑oriented and well‑organized professional.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of financial processes and inventory management.
• Ability to self‑educate and achieve goals without external support.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with Remedy, Wiki and Oracle Financial Applications.
• Inventory management expertise.
