Logistics Specialist – AWS Infrastructure

About the role

Amazon’s AWS Infrastructure Services team is seeking a self‑driven Logistics Specialist to support inventory and fiscal processes for Data Center Operations in India. You will act as a bridge between suppliers, internal teams, and financial groups, ensuring smooth material flow and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage public and confidential documentation related to Data Center logistics.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate shipments, receiving, and inventory control.
• Align with financial and inventory management teams, responding to internal and external queries.
• Gather, generate, publish, and present metrics across logistics and inventory domains.
• Perform manual tasks such as assembling, addressing, and arranging shipments, unpacking boxes, and verifying contents.
• Operate material‑handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) to load and unload large equipment.
• Maintain accountability of in‑stock components and process inbound shipments.

Required profile

• Highly autonomous, detail‑oriented, and well‑organized.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of financial processes and inventory management.
• Ability to self‑educate and achieve goals without external support.
• Interest in computer technologies and a drive to learn new skills.
