Key Accounts Manager – Gurgaon Area (Abrasive Systems)

About the role

3M is seeking a dynamic Key Accounts Manager for its Abrasive Systems Division in the Gurgaon area. The role focuses on sustaining existing business, acquiring new profitable accounts, and driving sales and collections across a defined territory.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Develop and manage key accounts through channel and direct sales, increasing market penetration.
• Identify and acquire new accounts, leveraging industry trends.
• Implement technical and marketing activities, including product demonstrations.
• Engage with key decision‑makers in target industries and meet new product sales targets.
• Provide market intelligence and monitor competitor activity.

Required profile

• Engineering or graduate degree, preferably with a management component.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial product sales experience, preferably in large‑account management.
• Experience handling accounts such as Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Hero MotoCorp, L&T, BHEL, HAL, TACO, Minda, Jindal Steel, etc.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 10‑15 days per month) and conduct hands‑on product demonstrations.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
