Junior Track Alignment Engineer – Design Center (India)

About the role

Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting is seeking a Junior Engineer to support track alignment design within its Design Center in India. The role involves creating alignment models, preparing drawings, and collaborating with senior engineers to deliver railway project solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design of track and alignment for various railway projects.
• Prepare drawings from alignment models according to project standards.
• Generate take‑off quantities and extract design reports from software.
• Collaborate with team members to meet client requirements and adhere to design guidelines and national/international codes.
• Consult with senior engineers to ensure outputs meet specifications and deadlines.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by the team lead.

Required profile

• BE/B‑Tech degree (post‑graduation is a plus).
• Experience on Indian or international railway projects.
• Knowledge of basic alignment design.
• Site experience and familiarity with Provi are advantageous.

Required skills

• AutoDesk Civil 3D.
• Bentley Power Rail Track or OpenRail Designer suite.
• Proficiency in creating alignment models (regression methods preferred).
• Provi software (optional).
