Junior Engineer – Track Alignment (Design Center, India)

About the role

Join DB Engineering & Consulting’s Design Center in India as a Junior Engineer focused on railway track alignment. You will support the design and documentation of railway projects, working closely with senior engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design of track alignment for various railway projects.
• Prepare drawings from alignment models according to project standards.
• Generate take‑off quantities and extract design reports from specialised software.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure client specifications are met.
• Apply national and international design guidelines and codes.
• Maintain project deadlines and communicate any issues to senior staff.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the team lead.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B‑Tech); postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Experience on Indian or international railway projects.
• Familiarity with alignment design concepts and basic railway standards.
• Site experience and knowledge of regression‑based alignment modelling are advantageous.
