Java Eclipse Developer (2-8 yrs) – Coimbatore

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Java Eclipse Developer to join its Coimbatore development centre. The role focuses on end‑to‑end product software development, with a strong emphasis on Eclipse plugin creation and integration within automotive software standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Eclipse RCP/Feature plugins using Java.
• Apply design patterns and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Implement automated tests with JUnit and SWTBot.
• Utilise AI‑assisted tools for code generation, debugging, and automation support.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Apache Maven.
• Manage source code with Git and collaborate in Scrum/Agile teams.
• Analyse functional requirements and translate them into use cases and technical designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 2 to 8 years of professional experience in Core Java and Java‑based frameworks.
• Proven experience in product software development and Eclipse plugin development.
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments.
