IT Support Engineer I

About the role

Amazon Operations Technology Services (OTS) is looking for an IT Support Engineer I to deliver high‑quality technical support across a defined geographic area. You will implement solutions, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist global customers remotely while traveling as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local technical projects and initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and improve policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and recommend process improvements.
• Provide remote support to global customers and on‑site assistance when required.
• Travel within the local or regional area to support customers based on business needs.

Required profile

• 1+ years experience with Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, DFS, Print Services, SCCM).
• 2+ years troubleshooting in a multi‑user, high‑availability environment.
• 2+ years PC repair, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 1+ years delivering IT client, server, and network services.
• 2+ years networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI model, TCP/IP).
• 2+ years supporting Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
• 2+ years maintaining a corporate network environment.
