Infrastructure and OS Engineer (Windows/VMware/Linux/Unix/AIX)

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure and OS Engineer who will be responsible for the design, deployment and ongoing support of our enterprise‑wide server and operating‑system landscape. The role covers a broad set of platforms including Windows, VMware, Linux, Unix and AIX and requires a strong focus on reliability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provision, configure and maintain physical and virtual servers across multiple operating systems.
• Monitor production environments, troubleshoot incidents and resolve issues promptly.
• Apply patches, perform upgrades and carry out system hardening to meet security standards.
• Participate in incident, problem and root‑cause analysis (RCA) processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support deployments and operational activities.
• Drive automation and standardisation of routine tasks using scripting or orchestration tools.

Required profile

• Solid experience managing Windows, VMware, Linux, Unix or AIX environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
• Good understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in an enterprise IT operations setting.
