Fullstack Java with Angular – Software Engineer II

About the role

Deloitte Consulting is looking for a Software Engineer II to join its AI & Engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑scale applications using Java and Angular, contributing to innovative solutions for clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and micro‑services architecture.
• Build and enhance Angular front‑end applications using TypeScript, reactive programming patterns, and integrate them with RESTful services.
• Evaluate technical approaches, identify risks, and ensure secure, maintainable, and high‑performance implementations.
• Perform testing, debugging, defect management, documentation, and resolve production issues throughout the software lifecycle.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, metric tracking, knowledge sharing, and creation of tools or accelerators.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in Java (Java 8+) and strong object‑oriented design fundamentals.
• Proven experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and building micro‑services.
• Solid background in developing Angular applications with TypeScript.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
