Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a senior Financial Controller to lead finance for our APAC regional operations. Reporting directly to the APAC Regional Finance Lead, you will act as a key financial partner across the agency, driving insight‑based decisions in a fast‑moving advertising environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis, develop budgets, perform variance analysis and present fiscal reports to senior leadership.
• Own full‑cycle accounting including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and general ledger, ensuring timely month‑end and year‑end close.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and manage tax filings, audit documentation and liaison with auditors and regulators.
• Manage corporate liquidity, working capital and banking relationships, including covenant compliance.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities by continuously reviewing operating expenses.
• Build and develop a high‑performing finance team and serve as the primary finance partner for vendors, clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional credentials such as CPA, CA or MBA are highly advantageous.
• At least 10 years of financial management experience, preferably in media, agency or advertising.
• Proven ability to lead finance functions in high‑velocity, deadline‑driven environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑development capabilities.
