Financial Controller – India Region

About the role

Apave International – India Region is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis for its India operations. The role will partner with Business Units and local teams to ensure accurate financial information and drive performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and consolidate Business Unit budgets, forecasts and annual budgets.
• Ensure accuracy of data in ERP and group reporting systems and participate in monthly/quarterly closes.
• Analyse financial results, variances and profitability of projects, including work‑in‑progress.
• Support Business Units with performance analysis, cost control and corrective actions.
• Assist and train local teams on management tools and harmonise control processes across the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Management Control; professional qualification (CA, CMA, ACCA) a plus.
• 5–8 years of experience in Management Control, Financial Controlling or FP&A, preferably in an international environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management principles.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, complex formulas, macros).
• Experience with ERP systems and group accounting, reporting and consolidation tools.
• Solid skills in budgeting, forecasting, variance and financial analysis.
