About the role

Otis is seeking a Field Service Executive to maintain and service a portfolio of elevators and escalators in Kolkata. You will ensure passenger safety and equipment reliability by performing scheduled maintenance, rapid breakdown response, and minor repairs.

Key responsibilities

Perform 100% of scheduled elevator maintenance and service visits within the assigned territory.
Respond quickly to breakdowns, aiming for first‑time fix and minimal downtime.
Carry out minor repairs and preventive maintenance to keep units operational.
Liaise directly with customers on‑site to build strong relationships and address service needs.
Monitor equipment status, manage repair schedules, and reduce callback rates.
Handle a portfolio of approximately 100–120 elevator units.

Required profile

Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
2–4 years of experience in the elevator industry.

Required skills

Elevator maintenance and service.
Escalator maintenance.
Troubleshooting and equipment repair.
Preventive maintenance procedures.
