About the role
We are looking for an Embedded Testing Engineer to join Bosch’s Bangalore software centre. The role involves creating test plans, executing manual and automated tests, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Create test plans, specifications and execute tests (manual & automated).
- Debug issues, identify root causes and suggest solutions.
- Interact with stakeholders to derive solutions and refine requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency and automation.
- Apply good testing practices across all stages of SDLC and STLC.
Required profile
- B.E/B.Tech in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- 3‑6 years of experience in product quality testing.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving and proactive attitude.
- Team player with high learning motivation.
- ISTQB Advanced level certification.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- Robot Framework for test automation.
- JIRA for issue tracking.
- ISTQB Advanced certification.
- Working knowledge of embedded or TT products.
- Familiarity with HVAC technology (advantage).
