Data Steward - Quality Excellence

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Steward / Senior Data Steward – Quality Excellence to help drive data quality, governance, and operational excellence across our diverse content domains. In this role, you will work horizontally across multiple content areas to establish consistent data quality standards, strengthen governance practices, identify systemic issues, and drive scalable improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain data quality standards, business rules, metadata definitions, and taxonomy frameworks across content domains.
• Monitor dataset health and quality metrics to identify opportunities to improve accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
• Investigate recurring data-quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and develop preventive, scalable solutions.
• Partner with operational, product, engineering, and quality teams to define requirements, support automation, and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
• Develop and maintain quality dashboards, data dictionaries, governance documentation, and SOPs.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, content or product operations.
• Proven ability to perform root‑cause analysis and lead cross‑functional process improvements.
• Experience with both structured and unstructured datasets, preferably in financial information services.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
