About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our school kitchen team. The role involves preparing nutritious meals for students and staff while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals in line with set menus and dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, following health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and keep accurate records of food stocks and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and school policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cook in an educational or institutional setting.
- Food safety certification is an advantage.
Required skills
- Strong cooking and food preparation abilities.
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
