Competitive Aptitude Trainer – Faculty Position

About the role

The MIT School of Corporate Innovation & Leadership (SCIL) seeks a dynamic faculty member to deliver high‑quality training and mentorship to students preparing for campus placements, higher‑education entrance exams, and various competitive examinations. The role involves curriculum development, interactive classroom instruction, assessment, and continuous monitoring of student progress to ensure industry‑readiness and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engaging sessions on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability, using innovative teaching methods and shortcut techniques.
• Design, update, and deliver course content, practice sheets, and mock tests aligned with current exam patterns (e.g., CAT, GATE, GRE, SSC, AMCAT, CoCubes).
• Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, analyze results, and provide constructive feedback.
• Track individual progress, organize remedial or advanced coaching batches, and mentor students on time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
• Maintain accurate attendance and performance records, participate in faculty development programs, and stay updated on emerging exam trends.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (M.E./MTech., M.Sc. in Mathematics/Statistics, MBA, or equivalent); SET/NET preferred.
• Minimum 3–6 years of proven experience training students for competitive aptitude sections of placement, government, or higher‑education entrance exams.
• Demonstrated expertise in Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability with strong communication and classroom management skills.
