Assistant Manager – IT Internal Audit

About the role

Altisource is a leading technology and services provider for the mortgage and real‑estate industry. The Assistant Manager, IT Internal Audit will report to the Senior Manager of Internal Audit and will lead technology‑focused audit engagements across the organization. This role combines risk assessment, compliance testing and process improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and lead end‑to‑end IT audits covering infrastructure, applications, information security and system development.
• Identify, assess and benchmark IT‑related risks and controls against industry best practices and SOX requirements.
• Perform key control testing, maintain audit documentation and support external audit testing as needed.
• Prepare audit findings, present recommendations to IT management and ensure compliance with standards such as SOX, GDPR and internal policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement risk‑mitigation actions and improve IT processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting or a related field.
• CISA certification is mandatory; additional certifications (CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CIA) are a plus.
• 4–6 years of experience in IT audit, internal audit or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IT systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and controls.
• Familiarity with internal control frameworks such as COBIT and COSO.
