Assistant Manager – Finance Business Partner (Aftermarket)

About the role

As an Assistant Manager – Finance Business Partner for the Sales‑Independent Aftermarket, you will support the sales organisation in driving growth while ensuring financial discipline and customer satisfaction. You will act as a bridge between finance and sales, managing receivables, credit risk and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor receivables, chase overdue payments and minimise customer overdue balances.
• Partner with sales teams to drive business growth and manage end‑to‑end stakeholder interactions.
• Handle customer queries, clarify policies and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Manage credit limits and business risks related to sales to avoid unexpected impacts.
• Identify, standardise and automate finance processes to increase efficiency and governance.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant, Cost & Management Accountant or MBA Finance qualification.
• 2‑3 years post‑qualification experience in order‑to‑cash (O2C) management, sales controlling, debtors management, taxation and use of digital tools.
• Advanced knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, reporting and related processes.
• Basic understanding of accounting standards, bookkeeping and risk management.
• Familiarity with industry‑wide B2B processes.
