Aircraft Technician – Trivandrum

About the role

The Aircraft Technician will perform maintenance, servicing and approved structural repairs on Emirates and third‑party aircraft and components at the Trivandrum airport. Working under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, the role ensures all tasks comply with manufacturer procedures and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine aircraft, engine and component servicing, fluid replenishment, refuelling and systems charging.
• Perform approved structural repairs and component replacements using the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM).
• Assist Licensed Aircraft Engineers with walk‑around checks, troubleshooting, defect rectification and modifications as directed by job cards.
• Promote a safety culture by maintaining clean work areas, controlling FOD and adhering to airport safety regulations, including holding a valid airport driving permit.
• Communicate aircraft or component defects promptly to engineers and ensure accurate hand‑over information during shift changes.
• Collaborate with supervisors on development plans, maintain grooming standards and punctual attendance.

Required profile

• Trained in aircraft maintenance trade disciplines and able to work under the direction of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
• Familiar with airport safety regulations and capable of operating in the airport manoeuvring area.
• Strong attention to detail, safety‑focused and able to follow technical documentation.
