Zonal Training Manager

About the role

The Zonal Training Manager drives the execution of learning interventions across a geographic zone, aligning them with central priorities and the business needs defined by the Zonal Sales Manager. This role blends facilitation, field execution, stakeholder collaboration, and ownership of strategic training projects.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the monthly training calendar, integrating central initiatives with local business requirements.
• Communicate training priorities promptly to field teams.
• Collaborate closely with Zonal Sales Managers, state/cluster training teams, central L&D, and brand partners to deploy brand‑led programs.
• Lead centrally driven projects from concept through execution, adoption, and impact tracking, providing regular updates to the reporting manager.
• Travel to priority stores to deliver additional support and step in for cluster trainers when needed (e.g., new‑hire onboarding, certifications, assessments).
• Facilitate manager capability programs for Department and Store Managers and conduct behavioral and capability‑based workshops.

Required profile

• Strong facilitation capability.
• Proven ability to work with sales and L&D stakeholders across zones.
• Experience managing training calendars and coordinating multiple initiatives.
• Willingness to travel periodically to stores requiring extra support.
• Ability to own projects end‑to‑end and track their impact.
