Tax Technology Consultant – Oracle EBS (Multiple Cities)

About the role

Join Deloitte’s Tax Technology Consulting team in India to help US‑based Deloitte Tax clients modernise their tax functions using Oracle EBS and related technologies. You will work across major Indian cities, collaborating with clients to design, implement and test next‑generation tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client workshops to understand tax processes and requirements.
• Gather and document tax requirements, perform system fit‑gap analysis.
• Advise on tax department strategy, policy and governance, covering people, process, technology and automation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Design and develop tax solutions within Oracle EBS/Oracle Cloud.
• Lead user acceptance testing, create test scenarios and recommend enhancements.

Required profile

• Masters/Bachelor’s in Engineering, Finance, Accounts or equivalent; MBA or Chartered Accountant preferred.
• 3‑6 years of experience with Oracle EBS finance modules or Oracle Financials Cloud modules impacting tax.
• Experience with tax‑related Oracle modules and financial consolidation tools.
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, taxation and auditing.
