Senior Principal Auditor – Corporate & Investment Banking (Bangalore)

About the role

As a Vice President Principal Auditor in the Corporate and Investment Banking Operations team, you will lead global and regulatory audits of KYC and anti‑financial‑crime processes for the bank’s CB & IB operations. Based in Bangalore, you will work closely with audit teams in India, the United Kingdom and other global hubs to ensure audit quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver global and regulatory audits for Corporate & Investment Banking KYC operations in line with the audit plan and quality standards.
• Participate in the annual risk assessment and audit planning, focusing on local regulatory requirements.
• Support the Principal Audit Manager in driving the audit process, identifying control gaps and recommending remediation.
• Collaborate with Anti‑Financial Crime, AML, Technology and other audit teams to provide integrated audit coverage.
• Report audit findings to the Global Chief Auditor and Head of Audit, ensuring timely escalation of critical issues.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in audit, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, anti‑financial‑crime and regulatory audit frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑regional audit engagements and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
