Senior Linux Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Linux Security Engineer to lead the security architecture of next‑generation battery energy storage platforms. The role will focus on hardening Linux‑based control systems and ensuring the solutions meet the highest cybersecurity standards while supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy enterprise‑wide Linux hardening initiatives, including OS‑level security configurations, secure boot and kernel hardening.
• Design and enforce file‑system security policies, logging, auditing and continuous monitoring frameworks.
• Harden network stack configurations with firewall rules, secure protocols and network segmentation.
• Develop and maintain Linux hardening baselines, security benchmarks and automated compliance validation.
• Reduce attack surface by removing unnecessary services and components.
• Design secure architectures for visualization and monitoring platforms.
• Create and maintain security policies, procedures and technical documentation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, coordinate penetration testing and perform security gap analysis.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities and Linux security technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience securing Linux‑based control systems in critical infrastructure or energy storage environments.
• Strong understanding of OT/ICS cybersecurity, IEC 62443 standards and defense‑in‑depth architectures.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, penetration testing coordination and threat hunting.
