Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of affordable healthcare, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive the development of a web‑based platform that streamlines patient access to treatments and insurance approvals. The role combines technical challenges with a strong social impact, requiring close collaboration between business stakeholders and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to capture objectives, workflows and product requirements.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions and requirement‑gathering activities.
• Translate complex needs into user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria and process diagrams.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business owners, Salesforce teams, Athenahealth specialists and internal development groups.
• Identify gaps, risks and dependencies, and drive resolution discussions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, engineers and QA throughout the product lifecycle.
• Document current‑state and future‑state processes and recommend automation opportunities.
• Support Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and UAT.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of Business Analyst experience in software or digital product development.
• Deep knowledge of US healthcare workflows and operational processes.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce configuration, integrations and data flows.
• Experience with Athenahealth or comparable EHR/EMR platforms.
• Proven ability to produce clear deliverables: user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs and process flows.
