Senior Associate – Frontend Development

About the role

Amgen is looking for a Senior Associate to lead the design, development, and delivery of responsive, scalable web applications that support its digital, AI/ML, and GenAI initiatives. You will work as an individual contributor within a cross‑functional team, collaborating closely with product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑quality React.js applications using TypeScript.
• Integrate front‑end components with REST APIs and cloud services such as AWS S3.
• Ensure applications are secure, performant, and compliant with industry standards.
• Maintain code quality through version control (Git) and unit testing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• 4–7 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams and manage multiple priorities.
