Senior Android Engineer

About the role

ANZ is seeking a flexible senior developer to enhance its goMoney native Android banking app. You will help transform a large technology stack into a simple, seamless banking experience for millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve ANZ’s mobile banking platform (goMoney) on Android.
• Maintain and extend banking system functionality to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to fellow developers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, applying mobile expertise across different product areas.
• Drive improvements in development, testing, and continuous delivery to deliver high‑quality software faster.

Required profile

• 8+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong passion for mobile development and a solid understanding of the banking/finance sector.
• Proven experience delivering Android applications in Agile teams.
• Ability to mentor peers, share knowledge, and balance quality, time, and scope.
• Willingness to take on technical leadership when needed.
