Salesforce CPQ Technical Solution Architect (Hybrid, Bangalore)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Salesforce CPQ Technical Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a complex quote‑to‑cash platform for a top multinational client in Bangalore. The role is hybrid, with a focus on on‑site collaboration during core business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end technical architecture for Salesforce CPQ and the broader lead‑to‑cash ecosystem.
• Define product catalogs, bundle structures, pricing waterfalls, and advanced pricing strategies such as tiered, block, usage‑based, and cost‑plus models.
• Architect integrations with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle), billing platforms (Zuora, Salesforce Billing, Stripe), CLM solutions (Conga, Ironclad, DocuSign CLM), tax engines (Avalara, Vertex) and data warehouses.
• Set development standards, including package strategy, environment strategy, CI/CD pipelines, test data management and release management.
• Resolve complex technical issues related to quote calculations, price rule conflicts, large‑bundle performance and renewal edge cases.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications and produce architecture artifacts.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, with at least 6 years dedicated to Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick).
• Proven track record of leading technical architecture for a minimum of three full‑lifecycle CPQ implementations.
• Strong understanding of quote‑to‑cash processes, subscription models and multi‑tier pricing.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to mentor development teams.
