Project Nurse – I (ICMR-funded Research)

About the role

The Institute of Medical Sciences, DMMC, is seeking a Project Nurse‑I to support a funded research study on vacuum assisted closure therapy versus conventional dressings for post‑operative necrotizing fasciitis wounds. The position is full‑time and dedicated exclusively to this project.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of the clinical trial protocol, including patient enrollment and wound assessment.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes according to study guidelines.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, case report forms, and source documents.
• Coordinate with the principal investigator and research team to ensure compliance with ICMR policies.
• Monitor patient progress and report adverse events promptly.

Required profile

• Completion of a two‑year Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife (ANM) course.
• Valid nursing registration as required by Indian regulations.
• Ability to work full‑time on the project without undertaking other institutional duties.
