About the role
The Institute of Medical Sciences, DMMC, is seeking a Project Nurse‑I to support a funded research study on vacuum assisted closure therapy versus conventional dressings for post‑operative necrotizing fasciitis wounds. The position is full‑time and dedicated exclusively to this project.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of the clinical trial protocol, including patient enrollment and wound assessment.
- Provide wound care and dressing changes according to study guidelines.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, case report forms, and source documents.
- Coordinate with the principal investigator and research team to ensure compliance with ICMR policies.
- Monitor patient progress and report adverse events promptly.
Required profile
- Completion of a two‑year Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife (ANM) course.
- Valid nursing registration as required by Indian regulations.
- Ability to work full‑time on the project without undertaking other institutional duties.
