Project Management Engineer – Line Transfer

About the role

We are looking for a Project Management Engineer to lead line transfer projects, ensuring the successful relocation and setup of production lines at our Sanand facility. The role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering complex projects within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering objectives, scope, timelines, and resources.
• Engage and align local and global stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for regulatory, logistical, and cultural challenges.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial control.
• Oversee logistics, including equipment transportation, customs clearance, and installation.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, fostering effective communication across departments and locations.
• Monitor timelines and adjust plans to keep projects on track.
• Implement quality assurance measures to meet organizational standards.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct post‑transfer evaluations to capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 3‑6 years of relevant project management experience
• PMP certification
