About the role
The Principal Associate – D2C will lead a team of Strategic Account Managers to accelerate growth for Direct‑to‑Consumer brands on Myntra’s platform. This senior position focuses on expanding selection, activating long‑tail brands and driving monetisation through strategic advertising.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 15‑20 Strategic Account Managers to drive growth for D2C brands on the platform.
- Execute the 2026 growth playbook targeting >60% YoY growth through selection expansion, activation of long‑tail brands and strategic ad coverage.
- Identify and close “Article Type” whitespace across under‑indexed categories such as Women’s Western Wear, Kids and Home Furnishing.
- Increase portfolio diversification by expanding focus from the top 50 brands to 250+ challenger brands.
- Maintain selection parity and competitive pricing by overseeing weekly SDS and daily NCI tracking.
- Manage onboarding pipeline to add 150,000+ incremental selections annually via automated crawls and brand partnerships.
- Drive ad coverage goals – 80% for new styles and 100% for SAM‑managed styles.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading large account‑management or sales teams in e‑commerce or D2C environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret growth levers, pricing indices and selection metrics.
- Track record of delivering double‑digit year‑over‑year growth.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across internal teams and third‑party consultants.
