About the role
The Package Manager for the Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) will report to the Project In‑charge and act as the PMC lead for the assigned PTB and supporting infrastructure package. The role covers planning, design coordination, construction supervision, interface management, testing, commissioning and hand‑over of architectural, structural, MEP and airport systems works, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget, quality, safety and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead delivery of the PTB package from construction through testing, commissioning and hand‑over, monitoring contractor performance against schedule, quality, safety and cost.
- Manage interfaces between the terminal building and airside, landside, utility and operational infrastructure, coordinating with airport operations, contractors, designers and authorities.
- Review and coordinate design deliverables, shop drawings, technical submissions and material approvals, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
- Monitor package schedules, progress forecasts and KPIs; support evaluation of variations, claims and change requests.
- Implement QA/QC procedures, oversee safety compliance and manage package‑level risks, escalating critical issues as needed.
- Lead testing, commissioning, systems integration and preparation of as‑built drawings, O&M manuals and hand‑over documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management (Master’s preferred); PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 15–20 years of experience in planning, design and construction management of large‑scale infrastructure or airport projects.
- Minimum 10 years managing passenger terminal building or similar aviation projects, with proven multidisciplinary package leadership.
- Experience in PMC, EPC, Design‑Build or client‑side project environments.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Primavera, MS Project and BIM tools.
- Experience using digital project‑control dashboards and analytics platforms.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, MEP and airport systems integration.
