Global Workday SME – M&A & Core HR Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Global Workday Subject Matter Expert to lead People Systems initiatives for mergers, acquisitions and core HR transformations. The role will be based in Bangalore and will partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the global SME for Workday and related People Systems supporting M&A and divestment projects.
• Partner with program managers, IT, Finance, Real Estate and external vendors to translate project objectives into comprehensive system solutions.
• Gather, analyse and validate business, security and data requirements, then lead design, testing, deployment and stabilization for acquisitions, integrations and separations.
• Coordinate employee, organisational and position data migration, including validation, transformation and loading into Workday.
• Manage dependencies across the People Technology landscape, covering Payroll, Learning, Recruitment, People Portal, Reporting and integrations.
• Provide functional leadership to regional counterparts and drive process standardisation, governance and adoption of best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Workday SME in M&A and core HR environments.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into system designs.
