Frontend Software Engineer (React, Node/NextJS, Typescript)

About the role

Gartner IT is seeking a motivated Frontend Software Engineer to join the Gartner Peer Insights Team. You will help build a scalable, secure platform that powers Gartner Peer Platform sites, working with modern web technologies in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver web applications using ReactJS, NodeJS/Next.js, and Typescript.
• Integrate with databases, AWS services, and RESTful APIs.
• Translate design mock‑ups and style guides into responsive, cross‑browser user interfaces.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests, and follow coding standards.
• Participate in technical design discussions and own features from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with lead engineers to analyze and improve system performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience building customer‑facing web products.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Good understanding of security best practices.
