Food & Beverage Service Associate (GSA)

About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Associate (GSA) is responsible for ensuring the smooth closing of the restaurant area, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering a professional guest experience in a Sheraton hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform closing duties: store reusable items, break down goods, clean equipment, lock refrigerators, restock, turn off lights and doors, and complete the daily cleaning checklist.
• Set up, stock and maintain work areas throughout the shift.
• Inspect and ensure the cleanliness and presentation of china, glassware and silver before use.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies; report accidents and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Welcome guests, answer telephone calls with proper etiquette, and communicate clearly with team members.
• Support team goals, listen to colleagues’ concerns and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or certifications needed.
