Finance Controller – Inspection Business

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead the finance and project controlling function for the inspection business of a well‑known multinational company in Mumbai. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting project budgets and providing analytical insight to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations for the inspection business.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate project‑related financial controls and cost tracking.
• Provide analytical support and variance analysis to drive business decisions.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely information flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 6–7 years of finance or project controlling experience.
• Prior experience in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Oracle, SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
