Commercial Internal Auditor

About the role

ABB is seeking a Commercial Internal Auditor to strengthen financial accuracy, internal controls, and regulatory compliance for its operations in Bangalore. You will apply a systematic, disciplined approach to audit records, prepare insightful reports, and help improve the organization’s operating practices, risk management, and financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in operational and financial audits across Order-to-Cash processes, including marketing, sales, service, and project management.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret documents to produce audit work papers in line with ABB audit standards.
• Evaluate internal control systems, document findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Conduct compliance audits and reviews, documenting results and communicating them to audit managers.
• Perform follow‑up reviews for operational, financial, and compliance audits.
• Support special assignments such as deficiency remediation and framework development for specific business processes.
• Execute walkthroughs by tracing transactions through end‑to‑end processes.

Required profile

• University degree in business administration, economics, engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, finance, compliance or related operational roles.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
• Strong analytical and IT capabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• International business experience is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CPA are a plus.
• Prior ABB internal audit experience is strongly preferred.
• Valid work authorization for India.
