Associate Consultant – Forensics & Investigations (Gurgaon)

About the role

EY is seeking an Associate Consultant to join its National Forensics, Investigations & Compliance team in Gurgaon. You will work with a multidisciplinary group of professionals to help organisations protect and restore their financial and brand reputation through forensic investigations, audit, and compliance services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct forensic investigations, internal audits, statutory audits and related audit assignments for clients.
• Analyse data, identify anomalies, control gaps and inconsistencies, and summarise findings with clarity.
• Prepare evidence‑based reports and support clients in regulatory and dispute resolution matters.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to design and implement governance, control and risk‑mitigation solutions.
• Apply consulting and communication skills to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (preferred) or equivalent finance/accounting background.
• 0‑2 years of experience in investigations, internal audit, statutory audit or forensic audit.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Agile, curious and able to sustain positive energy in a fast‑paced environment.
